160 Hour State-licensed Class A CDL Certificate Program
The 160 Hour State-licensed Certificate Program is designed to train the student to enter the transportation industry as an entry-level driver.  This program provides the student with the minimum requirements necessary to fulfill a prehire requirement.  The program includes classroom and lab (hands-on) activities.  It also includes an elective Permit Study Class. Training is provided with late model, industry standard, 10-speed manual transmission sleeper quad cabs and day cabs.   Please see the school syllabi for specific learning elements and outcomes for this training program.  This program can be completed in 3-4 weeks.  The program includes the required skills/road test that the student must pass in order to obtain a Class A CDL (commercial drivers license).  Classes start weekly.  This is the most affordable 160 Hour CDL Certificate Program in the region that offers prehires.  Tuition: $3,495

200 Hour State-licensed Class A CDL Certificate Program
The 200 Hour State-licensed Certificate Program is designed to train the student to enter the transportation industry as an entry-level driver, with additional hands-on experience.  The 200 Hour State-licensed CDL Certificate Program contains all the elements of the 160 Hour CDL Certificate Program, with an additional 32 hours of hands-on training.   This program is recommended to students that have little or no experience with manual transmissions, trailer backing of any kind or simply want to feel ’more prepared’ when entering the transportation industry as a professional entry-level driver.   This program provides the student with the requirements necessary to fulfill a prehire requirement.  This program also includes an elective Permit Study Class. Please see the school syllabi for specific learning elements and outcomes for this training program.  This program can be completed in 5 weeks.  The program includes the required skills/road test that the student must pass in order to obtain a Class A CDL (commercial drivers license).  Classes start weekly.  This is the most affordable 200 Hour CDL Certificate Program in the region that offers prehires.  Tuition: $4,495

Weekend Classes  Heavy Metal Truck Training offers its full Class A CDL Certificate Program on a part-time basis through weekend classes.  New weekend class sessions start every 6 to 7 weeks.  The part-time weekend program can be completed in as little as 6 weekends.  Weekend classes are usually limited to 4-8 students.  To register for the next weekend class session contact us at 651-459-6044.
 
 
3 Week State-licensed Class A CDL Certificate Program
The 3 Week State-licensed CDL Program is designed for the individual that is seeking employment and currently holds a Class A CDL license but has little or no over-the-road driving experience, or has not driven over-the-road for more than 2 years.  Classes start weekly.   Completion of this course is normally required for students receiving prehires from carriers.  Please refer to the course syllabi for more details. Tuition: $2,495

Log Books and Hours of Service
This is a 2.5 hour log book training class.  The class also provides the student with the most recent and up-to-date log book and hours of service rules and regulations.  The student will receive a log book textbook and a log book.  (This class is included with the State-licensed 160 Hour Certificate Program.)
